DAY 1:
The Dampier Peninsular is a significant area to the Kimberley Region and is as spectacular as it is intriguing. Home to many different communities we take the time to visit several areas and meet with local guides. This tour includes Beagle Bay community that is home to the famous church with its beautiful Pearl Shell Altar.

We then visit Goombaragin, a meeting place between the Bardi & Nyul Nyul people of the Pender Bay area. Here, as guests for the night we will overnight camp.

Meet Kathleen Cox, a local custodian who will take you on a cultural bush walk and interpret her knowledge of the plants and its traditional uses as a food source, medicinal properties and other uses.

Also enjoy a guided coastal scenic walk where information on the local marine life will be explained regarding its source as food, and learn of the hidden dangers.

With time to relax enjoying drinks & nibbles on Aalins Lookout, we take in a breathtaking sunset over this magnificent coastline. In the evening sit around the campfire with Kathleen & her family as they share their stories of family connections to the area.

DAY 2:
After a hearty breakfast we then take a short drive to Lombadina Community where we meet our local Indigenous guide for a tour, learning the history of the area.

Next we head to Kooljaman Resort at Cape Leveque, the tip of the Dampier Peninsular. Setting up camp you then have the afternoon free to experience the full beauty of this pristine area. With the option of swimming, snorkeling, fishing or perhaps ½ day Dinghy hire (at own expense).

Late in the afternoon we visit West Beach to enjoy another beautiful sunset over the Indian Ocean.

DAY 3: After breakfast you have time for a swim or stroll before departing Cape Leveque for One Arm Point Community on the Eastern side on the Peninsular, overlooking the mighty King Sound. On visiting One Arm Point we stop at the scenic lookout over King Sound with its huge tides, whirlpools and many Islands, maybe spotting a Turtle or 2.

We then visit the communities Trochus Hatchery and learn of the amazing sealife of these tropical waters with a local guide. Here you can get close up with a Barramundi, Nemo Fish, giant Clams and the many precious Trochus Shell being bred to restock their reefs.
